Hey,Cupcakes! - Quickie Update

Assalamualaikum, hello everyone!
Tengah berkejaran kat dapur..nak menyiapkan order. Biasalah, weekend panjang ni banyak wedding, bermakna banyakla rezeki pembuat kek, jurugambar, mak andam, tailor, event organizer dan juga caterer. Semoga rezeki Allah bagi tak putus-putus untuk semua, amin.. 
Di kesempatan ini, nak update tarikh2 yang dah full..tapi sebelum tu, ada satu gambar je nak tunjuk kali ni..
This is the ONLY picture of my cupcake wedding tier..my own wedding,Dec 2008. My official photographer forgot to take pictures of this tier (tapi dah pesan..sedey sgt!) coz he was bz taking our pictures. This picture was taken by my sister, it's her 1st time handling my Lumix FZ18, so the picture quality is not that good..better than to have no picture at all, right?
So to those yang berminat..please email me..to tell you the truth, I think the tier was too simple..yela, kite yang nak kahwin, kite jugak yang tukang buat semuanya..So maybe, insyaAllah kalau ada yang berminat nak tempah, designnya akan lebih menarik dan tertarik.. Hey,Cupcakes! - Colours

Assalamualaikum, pleasant day to you all out there!
How's everyone doing? Good?
Hmmm...Lately I've been slow at posting and updating. Why? Unlike most bakers I know, who loves updating their blogs, I don't really know what to write. I used to blog at my personal blog daily, but starting from last year I stopped. It suddenly felt too..personal? Like I don't really want people to know too much information. You get me?
PLUS, I am mighty busy..AND customer asyik ulang order design sama..Taknak la letak gambar sama jer kan? 
The first time I saw beautiful cupcakes (that was like 4 or 5 years ago, back when Malaysia tak start lagi the cupcake craze..huh, that's another topic!)..it never occur to me nak kecur air liur ke..rasa macam nak makan ke..rasa sayang nak makan ke..The first thing that went on in my head is "CANTIKNYA!MACAM MANA NAK BUAT TU???"..hence, after scouring..tanpa penat lelah melihat blog2 overseas for cupcakes..(time tu seriously kat Malaysia takde pun orang buat lagi cupcakes ni..yang baru nak start2 pun Wondermilk and KakYong)..barula I dare to bake my 1st cupcakes.
Anyway, let's talk about colours..I just can't make up my mind what kind of colours i LoVe on cupcakes. Sometimes I love pastel colours, but sometimes when i look at bright colourful decorations, I just fall in love all over again 
I just get confused sometimes, with orders that asks for certain kind of colours, like maroon, turqoise, fuschia, lavender,lilac..etc2..Because I think that colours like this, are a matter of opinion. Some people say that maroon are more purplish than redish, macam almost warna manggis..ada yang kata merah hati yang gelap with a hint of purple..(which reminds me of a dispute with Hubby..dia ada baju melayu which is obiviously purple..tapi dia kata merah..maroon la kot warnanya)..
And turqoise..is it bluish green..OR greenish blue? Kecut perut la bila dapat order macam ni..sekali tak sama with what the customer have in mind..silap haribulan dia kata dia nak kebiruan..bukan kehijauan..huhuhuh..purple pun susah..so many shades, lilac?lavender?hehehe..pening kepala..
And last but not least..GOLD and SILVER..I can never get the colour gold. When I see other's cakes and cupcakes which they say is GOLD, I would always in my heart terasa macam..it looks BROWN to me. Unless of course if you use gold dust..which is like REALLY expensive. So I always warn my customer, yang nak Gold theme..I am going to do yellow with lots of gold dragees (edible pearls) and silver? Grey la jawabnya.
So, kesimpulannya, it'll be great if you..(if you are a really nitpicky and detailed or OCD person) can give me the correct colour description when you order your cupcakes. Kalau yang terasa nak send colour swabs pun boleh (seriously, ada orang pernah buat).

Just want to revise dates yang dah full and close..but a posting wouldn't be complete without pictures, right?
Here are recent pictures (selalu letak gambar cupcakes dah basi..err I mean the pictures dah basi..not the cupcakes! heheh)..I delivered them on Friday to Midvalley. Giler best office diorang ni..nak pegi office kena lalu Isetan@The Gardens. Window shopping everyday u ols..hehehe..and I love it that this customer of mine will be doing repeating orders this year for the officemates bday.
Sushi on Cupcake!..All done with buttercream okeyyy..haha..tak perlu bermain dengan fondant and gumpaste (sebab malas)..and as far as I know, tak jumpa lagi yang buat dengan buttercream..Lepas ni ada la kot pengikut..hehehe.. Just Enjoy the pictures..
Masa sekolah2 dulu I took Japanese, explains why I know how to write Nihonggo..Dah rusty but I can still write and read Hiragana, 95% of Katakana..Kanji..only know how to write Japan, day, race, sket2 je la..Speaking the language? Errr..ada la sikit2 yang ingat..Plus with my love relationship with anime (teringat I pernah buat BLEACH theme cupcakes tapi laptop lama rosak..hilang semua gambar)..huhuh..Rasanya kalau tercampak kat Jepun boleh hidupla la lagi..wakalimasen..eigo..hehehe..

Just want to share some themed cupcakes that I've done..Some of these pictures dah berkurun berzaman okeh..huhuh..
Some people think that I don't do FC logos..I do..it's just that I malas nak share the pictures sebab I think my drawings are crap..and their just plain hard to do..Anyway, here's a few :
Astronaut theme cupcakes. Had to deliver to a school at USJ before 8am! Gosh..I'm glad I don't live in USJ, no offense to those who are, but your traffic jam is hell..huhuhu..Also garang seh cikgu sekolah tu..The first teacher I met cakap "tapi dilarang buat majlis hari jadi kat sekolah" (macamla I yang suruh buat party)..then baru HEM tu datang selamatkan I kata Guru Besar dah approve yang ni..huhuh..

First of all, I will not be taking any calls until 8th February and can't answer any emails cause I'm on a vacation. Please SMS all orders and I will try to answer ASAP. But if you don't like late responses, please wait until after 8th February.
